About Me

“To be fully alive, fully human, and completely awake is to be continually thrown out of the nest.”- Pema Chödrön

Throughout my life, I’ve discovered the beauty of continually being thrown out of the nest. I’ve had many difficult struggles in my own life including intense trauma and grief. I believe that in order to heal we must embrace all parts of our self and our experience. My intention is to guide clients through a journey of love and compassion by tapping into true authenticity. My goal is to offer a sacred space where we can explore self-expression and reconnect with the needs of our heart.

I have a Master’s Degree of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling. I have experience working with adults, children and adolescents in play therapy, trauma, behavioral issues in mental health agencies and inpatient settings. I have extensive experience as a crisis counselor and training in Gestalt Therapy and hypnotherapy.

With over five years’ experience as a meditation and yoga instructor, I facilitate a space to gain a deeper connection with the mind and body. I believe that everyone is doing the best they can with the resources they have in that moment. I honor the philosophy that we all have the intuitive ability to heal ourselves. Whether you are experiencing trauma, grief, life transition, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, addiction or behavioral issues, I encourage empowerment through embodiment and connection.
